Problem statement
Pet owners face several challenges, including the emotional and financial burden of caring for their pets. One of the most stressful aspects is the uncertainty of their pet’s health. The cost of veterinary care can be prohibitively expensive, leading to difficult decisions for pet owners. These challenges can cause significant stress for pet owners and impact their overall well-being.
During my time working at Optum, we had the opportunity to dig into problems that pet owners face. Through our research, we boiled down our idea to create an app for pet owners to track everything about their pets in. We never got to complete the idea as Optum chose not to move forward with it, but I am proud of the work that we did and found the idea interesting.
